This is my 1985 second album. Fortunately, with the addition of marriage and maturity, my songwriting and singing improved from my first album. But this more mellow recording effort also benefited from a seasoned producer, digital recording on a first-generation Macintosh, some hired instrumental talent, and of course Sally adding BGVs and soloing on two songs. But church ministry, Whole Heart, children, and writing books soon intervened and songwriting became mostly a hobby for the next 30 years. This album was like a cap on a season of my life that was coming to an end.
